It's All Woofs and Hooves at New Maryland Pet Boutique
Equestrian, Robin Stewart, took her passion for horses and dogs and created Sweet Piggy Baking Co. - signature hand-crafted and wholesome horse and dog treats sold primarily online, in pop-ups or at equestrian events - until now.
Now, Marylanders and travelers to the Annapolis area can stop into Robin's bright pink and cheerful location in Millersville, Maryland - an easy hop off Route 97. If there were ever a southern coastal vibe to a pet boutique, this is it. Grand Opening is Saturday, June 12, 10AM-4PM, 8268 Veterans Highway Suite 6, Millersville, Maryland.
Maggie Blue spent some time with Robin in May for a special behind-the-scenes look at her unique dog, horse and human gifts. Every toy, treat, gift or piece of artwork is something you will simply not find easily elsewhere, and certainly not all in one place. While Robin's boutique is dedicated to dogs and horses, those folks who share Robin's passion will find gifts for humans, as well.
Magnolia Blue followers will love the bright pink interior, a pet photo opportunity with a hand-painted Sweet Piggy Butterfly wall, the simply refined mix of everything from sailcloth totes to Sunday Funday Bloody Mary plush toys, equestrian and canine artwork, hand-poured candles - including Sweet Piggy's own brand.
Robin has a sign in the shop that reads: Butcher, Baker, Candlestick Maker. Believe her! She does it all - and her creative sense of merchandising her shop, carefully curating equine, canine and human gift items while bringing a cheerful attitude to everything she does is contagious.
